Centrifugal Casting Machine YC Series

The YC series centrifugal casting machines have excellent casting ability, especially for filigrees and delicate designs.
Compared to other casting methods, the efficient displacement of molten metal and internal gas allows molten metal to feed instantly to the edge of the castings.
In addition, centrifugal casting can be cast at lower temperatures due to powerful castability than other casting methods, thus minimizing shrinkage porosity.

*For ferrous alloys with a transformation point, an exclusive machine may be required depending on the iron content and melting amount.

Casting with platinum/cobalt alloys should be done in an air atmosphere or/and inert gas atmosphere. Platinum/palladium alloys do not necessarily require a vacuum atmosphere or/and inert gas atmosphere.
To keep machine costs down, the YC-75 uses an analog system, and a radiation thermometer is available as an option rather than as standard equipment.
After setting the rotation speed and the melting alloys, the melting time can be set by a timer by simply pressing the melting-confirmation button.
The casting machine is capable of automatically starting rotation from the melting time set by the timer by simply pressing the melt-confirmation button after the complete melting has been completed by visual confirmation.

• ■Three types of operation are provided: "Automatic Temperature Controlled FULL AUTOMATIC", "Timer Type Automatic SEMI-AUTOMATIC", and "MANUAL".
• ■When continuous casting is performed under the same casting condition, the "Repeat Casting" button allows one-touch operation of the next casting.
• ■Touch panel display is available in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
• ■Radiation thermometer (pyrometer) is equipped.

  Access to the following pages: [Repeat Casting], [Process History], [Basic Settings], [Alarms], [Casting Conditions], [Casting History], and [Individual Operation].
• ■STAND-BY PAGE
  The set casting conditions are displayed in the order of the operation process.
• ■CASTING HISTORY PAGE
  Displays each condition that was cast along with the alloy type input in the memory.
• ■ INDIVIDUAL OPERATION PAGE
  Enables independent operation of 【Heating】, 【Output Selection】, 【Vacuum Pull】, 【Stopper Activation】, etc. for checking the operation of each function for testing and maintenance purposes.
• ■ALARM SCREEN
  When an abnormality occurs during operation, such as [air pressure], [overcurrent], [cooling water temperature], [cooling water pressure], [vacuum pump failure], etc., it is interrupted and immediately displayed on the touch panel.
